St Lucia

Caribbean queen

The soaring Pitons make this Lesser Antilles island instantly recognisable. These verdant volcanic peaks drop dramatically into the emerald Caribbean Sea, and help shape the character of this beautiful island. The north is home to golden beaches, whilst the sand in the south is silvery grey, and a rich, mountainous rainforest covers most of everything in between.

Trails winding through and up reveal exotic flora and fauna and tumbling waterfalls, whilst the waters around the island teem with marine life. The old capital of Soufriere, with its bustling waterfront is a postcard of brightly coloured colonial houses and shopfronts, with an equally vibrant atmosphere. This island definitely has something for everyone. Some come for adventure, others for kicking back and doing nothing, but once you’ve been, you’ll want to come back.
